[Dreadball] Megacon Cardinals
I added another a grey tone to the midsections of my Corporation team to try and break up the red/black and give the models a little more depth.
So here's the last team of my Dreadball v1 Kickstarter completed! I now have an excuse to buy more teams...

Dreadball Corporation
After painting up the Dreadball Forgefather figures, I needed to paint up another team just so that my Forgefathers would have someone to play against.
I picked painting the Corporation team because they had the same units (Striker, Jack and Guard), so now I can play some little 3v3 practice games to get a hang of Dreadball.
After painting these fantastic miniatures from my Dreadball Kickstarter set, I now have to at least paint some of the Marauder and Veer-myn models as well. I have to. There's no choice about it. Stay tuned!

Corporation Complete
I actually finished these guys of a few days ago, but haven't had the chance to snap a photo! Batch painting the rest of the squad went faster than expected, and I think they turned out pretty good! I'm looking forward to many action-packed adventures in the Grim Cargo with them.
I think the models themselves are great - certainly good value as part of the boxset. There is enough variety in the pieces to give each model an individual enough look, while still maintaining good squad consistency.
I have put some thought into it, but I can't seem to come up with any good fluff for my Corporation... I'll make sure to update the blog if I do though :)
Alright, now onto the Veer-myn!

Corporation Sergeant
After finishing off five of the regular Corporation Marines, I thought I'd reward myself and paint up the Sergeant. His pose definitely makes him stand out from the other marines, and his pistol and power fist are pretty cool too. I decided to stay consistent with the rest of 'hot' colour scheme and opt for a 'heated glow' on his power fist.
Alright, more Corporation troopers to paint! Stay tuned!

Corporation Test Scheme
So this is what I managed to come up with last night, after a few tweaks. I initially had more red - on the shoulders and gloves, but thought to tone it down a little. The paint is a little wet in places, and one of the photos is a little blurrier than I'd like, but I was keen on getting some photos up today!
Overall I'm pretty happy with the colour scheme, and plan on batch painting the rest of the squad tonight.
It's just occurred to me that I'll need to come up with a name for my Corporation as well, and maybe a little fluff too!

Corporation and Veer-myn Undercoated
It's been rainy in Sydney for the past couple of days (over a long weekend too - boo!), but I managed to sneak outside during a dry spell yesterday evening and get all my undercoating done!
Since I undercoated them grey, these WIP photos don't really look any different to the assembly shots... but I assure you they're primed and ready for the paintbrush!

Corporation Assembled
In the above shot, we see the contents of the Corporation set. The left arms (gun supporting arms) are in the bag on the top left, and the bag on the right contains the parts to make the Corporation Sergeant (Sergeant Cruise).
The sprue on the left side has 3 special weapons (which don't have any impact in Project Pandora) and the 3 sprues on the bottom are for the heads.
The only thing to note about assembling these marines are the arms. There are 3 different variants of right arms, and 3 variants of left arms. Only one set of right arms matches to a corresponding set of left arms. Once you've sorted that out, it's fairly straight forward.
Looking at the completed result, you're able to make a nice variation of troops, and the Sergeant definitely looks unique amongst them. There is a spare head to use with the Sergeant as well, and I didn't fancy using the special weapon options for my marines.
That didn't take too long, so now it's onto the Veer-myn!
