Vallejo Texture Acrylic - Rough White Pumice
During my latest hobby hiatus I came across Vallejo Diorama Effects, and thought it would be a great way to base miniatures quickly and efficiently.
I finally got around to trying out their Rough White Pumice, which I chose because I thought it could be used to represent a number of different scenic bases (with the right paint job of course), and I was happy with the result.
There are some great reviews on the range of products on YouTube, but I thought I would share my results here anyway :)

[KoW] Dwarfs - Reinforcements Part 2
My son is now 9 months old (and it's been just about that long since my last post!) and I'm finally getting moments of time to myself.
I haven't found the energy get my paints out, but I have been doing some assembly, and here's what I've done with my second Dwarf Army Set (from 2014), which I picked up back in 2020.
The Sharpshooters are just Ironwatch Rifles (based on 25mm bases), with their 'shields' made from 20mm bases and left-over weapon bits.
The Masiff Hunting Packs are made up of my Warboars, with some Dwarf Hunters and actual Mastiffs thrown in.
