[Dreadball] Cobalt City Sentinels

The introduction of the Brokkrs to Dreadball has seen the Forge Fathers replaced as the competitive dwarf team.
This meant my Forge Father team, the Cobalt City Crushers, needed an extra guard to compete as a legal Brokkr team. So here is my Forge Father team (now a legal Brokker team) rebranded the Cobalt City Sentinels!

[Dreadball] Undercity Shadows

With the announcement of the Dreadball v2 Kickstarter launching at the end of this month, I thought it was finally time to get it together and paint the teams I received as part of the Dreadball v1 Kickstarter!

Over the past week I painted through the Veer-myn, and the Undercity Shadows are ready to take to the pitch!

Kings of War Custom Movement Trays

I recently received my Kings of War 2nd Edition Custom Movement Trays, and I'm really happy with the how they turned out.
I had them made up by the excellent folk at THMXcessories - great customer service from Mark and Shaun, I can't recommend them enough.
My custom movement trays allow for 7 models (on 20mm bases) to represent 10 models in an alternating pattern, adhering to the unit footprint rules of Kings of War.

Each custom movement tray is two MDF pieces, each piece is 3mm thick

Relic Knights - Kickstarter Arrived!

In September 2012 I got really excited about a Kickstarter project called Relic Knights by SodaPop Miniatures (of Super Dungeon Explore fame) and produced by CMON.
I backed the project a little too enthusiastically, opting for the Gotta Get 'Em All Pledge, which was one of every faction!
It's now August 2014 - and here's what arrived in the post today... I'm an NOT looking forward to cataloguing to confirm my entire pledge is here!

First Kings of War Game

I met with a local group of great Kings of War players over the weekend and had my first game of Kings of War, using my Goblins! Here are some photos from my 1000 point game against an Undead Host, which took just over an hour to play! Had a blast :)

My opponent took the win, our game ending after turn 5, killing off double the models I killed (points-wise). Great game against a fantastic opponent, very patient and friendly talking me through my first game :)
